So we’re almost half way through March and I don’t know about you, but Spring definitely feels like it has sprung. Finally!! I’m already dreaming of putting all the dark winter clothing away and leaping into fresh Spring vibes (as are Ted & Millie!) With this in mind, I wanted to share with you two gorgeous collars from our lovely friends at Jolie Dog; a fabulous online boutique selling a whole range of dog accessories your dog will adore. With a new season just around the corner, it’s the pawfect excuse to add to your dog’s pawdrobe!

WHO ARE JOLIE DOG?

So Jolie Dog started out in 2015, just like us! I remember noticing them early on and being ecstatic when they followed me on Twitter & Instagram! There’s a good reason why I was so pleased! Joanna, the human behind the brand, has created an exquisite collection of items which are high quality, yet affordable. They’re fun, yet classy (basically they’re just fab!) THE NEW STRAWBERRY DOG COLLAR: £24.00

The first thing to point out about both of these collars, is the quality. Millie’s neck is teeny tiny but I have to say, this collar fits her like a glove! I am seriously impressed. The Navy colour and addition of cute strawberries make this collar a sweet addition to your dog’s collar collection. Who doesn’t like Strawberry’s in the sunshine?!!

The collars are actually wider (2cm – 2.5cm) than any of our usual collars and being small dogs, I was unsure how they would be. I actually really like the width as it makes them feel sturdier and also makes a real statement. They come in a variety of sizes though to suit the smallest of dogs to the biggest. MINT GREEN SPOT COLLAR: £24.00

I normally like to see Ted in relatively neutral and classic colours but something about this collar just leapt out to me! I’ve really enjoyed seeing Ted in a bright colour and love the way it just pops against his coat!

Both collars fasten so well (Ted can sometimes be a bit of a pain to put a collar on – he just gets very excited about the prospect of going out and can’t control himself!) I’m pleased to confirm though, I found popping on his Jolie Dog collar to be super easy and it fastens so well too. It’s great to know the collar is secure yet comfortable. Made from 100% cotton outer fabric with a strong polyester webbing inner, with rust proof metal hardware, this is a collar which should stand the test of time (plus they’re machine washable!)
