Well that was sNOw joke, wasn’t it?!! Have you recovered from your very own version of ‘Frozen’ last week? I was utterly convinced I was going to see Elsa, Anna & Olaf walking past our house at one point! Whether we like it or not, snow is becoming more & more inevitable each year. Some dogs love it. Some dogs don’t. This year was Ted & Millie’s first real look at snow (& what a wonder it was!) There was only a bit of ‘dachshund through the snow’ from Ted & Millie (see what we did there?!) as we had to be overly cautious given Millie is still recovering from IVDD.
This didn’t stop us from having a good old trudge in the garden though so they could get their paws dirty and attempt making their own snow angels! I popped quite a few photos on our Instagram feed but thought I’d share some more with you here too…
DACHSHUND THROUGH THE SNOW

Ted decided to agree with Millie as some of that snow needed removing! “Shake it off, shake it off!”
READY TO SAY HELLO TO SPRING!
As fun as the snow was for Ted & Millie, I think it’s safe to say we’re now all ready to welcome Spring with open arms (& paws!) We’re ready to feel the sun on our face, enjoy long walks in the park & see a bloom of colour everywhere. Hope you’re ready for it? I think it’s clear Ted & Millie are poised to welcome it…
What did your dog think of the snow? We’d love to hear from you. Pop us a comment below…

Lovely to see Millie back on her paws and enjoying the snow! :-*
Thanks so much, Cristina & Argo! It was lovely to see her in it (although she did sulk because she had to be kept on the lead, just for the time being!) I’ve told her there will plenty of time for snow shenanigans in the coming years. Hope you both managed to have some fun times in it too. Thanks for commenting xx
