Last week it was time to say goodbye to January and there was only one way to see it off in style! I hopped in my car and headed to London for another Facebook LIVE interview, this time with luxury dog brand, Tales of Teddy. A pawfect way to round-up our TWILIGHT BARK UK ‘Hot List’ of 2017 too! Today’s blog post is a follow up to my interview. Come and take a closer look at this exquisite dog brand and their beautiful range of products. WHO ARE TALES OF TEDDY?

Tales of Teddy was originally a dog blog, focusing on the life and loves of gorgeous Schnauzer, Teddy. As Teddy grew, Sam Murray Greenway (his human!) found it increasingly difficult to find dog products which were not only practical, but which she loved too. The answer? To create her own products for Teddy! Thankfully for all of us, this has now led to the creation of products for many of our dogs too (I might have to send Teddy a treat or two for inspiring such an incredible brand!)

Only officially launching in November 2016, Tales of Teddy has already commandeered a legion of fans and admirers, particularly on Instagram (and it’s very easy to see why!) Their tag line really reflects what they have created together and why it is successful already…

All of the Tales of Teddy collars and leads are made with beautiful Sedgwick bridle leather (only the very best will do!) This means these collars will be long-lasting because of the quality of the leather. It also means they are incredibly durable so they can take on the muddiest or wettest of days! The way in which the colours have been applied is also very important…

As for the brass detailing, these are made at one of the few remaining brass foundrys in Britain supplying the equestrian community (and now dog community!) Amazingly each collar is made individually using over 20 tools by Master Saddler, Emma Baker-Jones. Every detail has been thought of, even down to the type of roller on the buckle, which has been designed especially to prolong the life of the leather when it runs across it. Well aren’t these bowls rather stylish?!! I adore them (and can see why these are the best-selling products from Tales of Teddy so far!) One of the great things about Tales of Teddy is their products are not only practical but stylish too! The bowls are actually made by Brickett Davda (for those in the know, they supply Ralph Lauren, Nicole Fahri & Toast!) Your dog can be a real style hound when eating their dinner or drinking their water with one of these. The Tales of Teddy blankets are not only a bundle of loveliness for your dog to snuggle in, but they also look divine in your home too! They are made at Melin Tregwynt, a mill which has been going for over 100 years and supplies major fashion houses. Once made, each blanket is individually hand sewn at the edges to make sure little claws don’t get caught either (again, it’s back to the tiny details).

The two black / grey combination blankets are made from 100% lambs wool (and they are so soft!) The brown / black blanket is made from 100% pure new wool (this is heavier and feels very durable). They are made to be big enough for a good sized dog bed but also for use on a sofa (let’s face it, a lot of our dogs sit on there, don’t they?!) These are the perfect cover-up! Interested? WANT TO KNOW MORE?

From speaking with Sam from Tales of Teddy, it is clear to see the passion which goes into creating each one of their products. I love the fact everything is handmade here in Britain and helps traditional practices continue to thrive. Tiny details make all the difference with these products and whilst the prices may be slightly higher compared to your average dog product, I feel each of these are true investment pieces. These are products which are high quality, look good and maintain their level of quality. Pawfection.
